• Call blocking software may have an easy to access call icon on your computer’s desktop to signal you that there is an unwanted call. Some even smarter software can dial missed calls that were not answered through a feature that you need to initially set up.

Although your landline phone may be capable of a call blocking feature, you may need to register through your phone company and of course this feature is not free. It will also not guarantee all unwanted calls to be screened since some unwanted numbers are unknown to you.

Finally, if you want to stop other numbers to call you like your past acquaintances, talk to them outright and tell them what you want. This may be the most effective call blocking feature that you will ever use.
